Nelson Park School

20% of our population live with a diverse ability, 20% of our workforce can include people with diverse abilities. Based at Nelson Park School, the Inclusive Industry Engagement Coordinator, Amanda Hay, works to source industry engagement opportunities for students with diverse abilities. Opportunities can include school incursions or excursions where employers provide students with experiences and information about what it is like to work in their industry. Other opportunities include work experience, one to one student mentorships, or any other experience supportive of students learning about a working lifestyle and the world of work.
