Celebrating 170 Years - get involved!

The Geelong Chamber is turning 170 this year. Members can get involved in this Member Campaign by sending in a 30-60s video saying Happy Birthday to the Chamber and tell us your Chamber story.

Did you meet an exciting business partner through the Chamber? Or did you get some much needed business advice in a Masterclass? We’d love to hear your Chamber story!

Please film your video in a horizontal format – using your phone is fine – and email your video to marketing.team@geelongchamber.com.au for the chance to be featured across our socials and in our newsletter.

Member Campaigns

Did you know that 1 minute of video is equal to 1.8 Million words to your audience. On top of that viewers retain 95% of a message when obtained via video. This is where our video campaigns come in. We put out member campaigns multiple times during the year calling out for our members to send in their user-generated content. Our aim is to showcase you  – our unique members. Whether you’re looking to increase your reach, create awareness for your brand, form new partnerships or gain new clients, we are here to support you in reaching your business goals. New Member Welcome

As a new member we offer you the opportunity to send through a welcome post or video introducing yourself to our member community. The content will then be posted across our socials. Kate Ware from BuzzPop Brands said in her new member video that the strength in networking comes from personal relationships. We couldn’t have said it better! Past Campaigns

For our ‘We’re open for business’ campaign videos members were given the opportunity to introduce their business coming out of lockdown. The campaign reached 23,304 people and received 1,482 engagements alone – a huge win for our member community!

In our ‘Empowering Staff’ campaign we asked members to share how they are empowering their staff and themselves during a changing work environment. Hear from Encompass CEO Elaine Robb on how they supported their employees.
