About our September After 5 host

In early September, the Gordon unveiled its multi-million-dollar world-class food and hospitality training facilities – and we will be one of the first to see it come to life at our September After 5. The stunning redevelopment of the TAFE’s original 135-year-old building embraces history and new technology to deliver a purpose-built state-of-the-art culinary precinct.

The $23.5m redevelopment includes the iconic Davidson restaurant, which will be open for a la carte dining and functions. The menu will feature native Australian-influenced cuisine. It will be joined in early 2023 by the new Barista School, Social café, the Culinary Academy demonstration kitchen and Share Plate conference space. All spaces will be utilised for educational and commercial use.
