Presenters:

Brett Ince – Regional Director Barwon South West – Regional Development Victoria

 

Brett is the Regional Director, Barwon South West region for Regional Development Victoria in the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions (DJSIR). Previously, Brett was Executive Director for Tourism Greater Geelong and The Bellarine (TGGB). TGGB is the Regional Tourism Organisation spanning from Werribee to Barwon Heads including Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and Moorabool Valley.

Brett has held several senior roles within the City of Greater Geelong including investment and economy and tourism roles, as well as previous experience within the Victorian Public Service as Director of Tourism and Visitor Experience at Parks Victoria.

 

Tony Brun – Chief Executive Officer – Avalon Airport

Tony joined Avalon Airport as the Chief Executive Officer in September 2022.

As accomplished engineer, Tony has worked in Executive roles across multiple sectors, including aviation and local Government, Tony brings extensive commercial, planning, delivery and
organisational transformation experience to Avalon Airport; Victoria’s second international gateway airport, future multi-modal transport hub, and State-leading jobs precinct.

Tony is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Institution of Engineers Australia and the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia and is the director of Gascoyne
Gateway.

 

Marcus Jankie – General Manager – Up Property

With over 15 years of experience, Marcus has built a reputation across the property development and construction industry. Before his role as a General Manager for Up, Marcus saw remarkable global success in New York City, acquiring a diverse skill set across all sectors of the industry. Marcus’s role has him overseeing daily operations, focusing on project delivery, improving efficiencies, managing staff, overseeing budgets and business and marketing strategies.

 

Nat Anson – Director – Urbis Geelong

Nat Anson is an innovative strategic planner with extensive experience in master planning across Melbourne’s growth corridors and Victoria’s regional cities and towns. A Geelong local, Nat leads Urbis’ exciting Victorian expansion into the Geelong region and South West of Victoria. He is passionate about creating growth and economic development opportunities in regional cities and environments and specialises in stakeholder engagement – strengthening collaboration between the public and private sectors.

 

Jacqueline Randles – Associate Director – Urbis Geelong

Jacquie is a planning professional who is passionate about driving sustainable solutions for growth and development in our regional areas, particularly Geelong. She has just returned from almost 18 years internationally where she, among various roles, led the planning and development department in Northern Norway. She brings with her new and innovative ideas for inspiring change through best-practice planning and excels in finding solutions for economic, environmental and social development opportunities that benefit the communities in which we reside.

 

Steve Martin – Head of Sales, Major Markets – NEXTDC

Steve Martin is a leading ICT executive, with more than three decades of industry experience taking on critical roles in sales, partnerships, and channel management. As NEXTDC’s Head of Sales, Major Markets, Steve leads engagement across enterprise, Government, and partner ecosystem. The combination of Steve’s thorough management, deep knowledge of the ICT industry and strategic relationships within the ICT and business community have attributed to his overall success in leading high-performance teams focused on delivering results for customers.
