Expressions of Interest are being sought from small to medium enterprise organisations to participate in the Leading Projects and Critical Thinking Program. This program will assist organisations that currently service or intend to service the defence industry sector, by providing project management, effective communication skills, finalising and evaluating projects, skills needed to ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget and the level of quality expected.
Organisational Agility: Leading Projects and Critical Thinking Program
Participant outcomes for leading projects component includes; application of project management tools, development of techniques and methods to plan, report and manage a project initiative; establishing, monitoring and controlling a project or a specialist workstream on a project, the coordination, optimisation and implementation of a project plan and resources to meet relevant requirements, quality specifications, risks, issues, costs and schedules; the fostering of strong relationships and effective communication with project stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes; finalising and evaluating projects using methodologies, tools and techniques to support recommendations for continuous improvement. The participant outcomes for the critical thinking component includes, defining the critical elements of a procedure to complete a broader based investigation flexibly and precisely; application of a range of methods and approaches to solve increasingly complex problems; identifying unknown factors and cause-and-effect relationships in poorly defined problems and organising and assessing evidence from critical reviews to make logical conclusions
